A few years ago a TV show Had the nation glued to it's seat, They all wanted to know Which way things would go Down in Coronation Street. A woman, torn between two men, Should it be Mike or should it be Ken? She didn't know which one to choose, No wonder Deidre had the blues. Ken was a teacher, serious and stern, Was it for him her heart did yearn, Or Mike, with his smooth-talking charm? He wouldn't mean her any harm. It's true, his business deals were shady, But he knew how to romance a lady. I knew Ken was kind and sincere too, But I knew what I would do. I'd have said "Sorry, Ken, on your bike, Because my heart belongs to Mike. Life with him would never be dull, He knows how to live it to the full As time goes by, I might regret it.
